The SM4D line is a series of high performance and local logic vector drives suitable for connection via fieldbus CANbus, Serial, EtherCAT, Ethernet or Profinet to single or multi-axis systems in slave mode. Including a Full Digital vector drive with 'Else' firmware and a high torque NEMA23 / NEMA24 motor at different powers, these are quickly configurable devices thanks to the Ever Studio PC interface for windows PC. The SM4D series, in addition to combining compactness and power, offers maximum versatility and reliability, allowing considerable wiring and electrical panels savings. With the hardware resources available in various versions and with the implementation of the Advanced Power Motion Module, you can operate your application in a quick and easy way.


CANopen is a standard communication protocol widely used in the industrial automation fields. First developed for use with CAN fieldbus, it has also been applied to other types of fieldbuses such as Ethercat CoE.

Thanks to the ELSE technology integrated in the Ever Elettronica’s drives motors current control is so high that vibrations, resonances and noises don’t exist anymore.

The innovative f4d2 technology allows the motor’s excitation at high efficiency chopper thanks to the calculations speed for the current regulation performed by the drive's microprocessor and thanks to a proprietary patented algorithm.
