Which drive would be better for your machines?

The technological development, that over the years has led motion control to reach high levels of quality, has provided manufacturers of automatic machines with different types of drives, to be chosen according to their needs.
We have been manufacturing motion control solutions for 45 years and we provide 3 types of drives:

Pulse&direction drive:

  • Easy product configuration (dipswitch/rotoswitch, no software configuration required)
  • Cheap
  • Open loop movements
  • No specific software knowledge required
  • Automation logic is managed by the master

Fieldbus drive

  • Can be integrated into third-party ecosystems (through Profinet, EtherCAT, Ethernet Modbus TCP/IP, CANopen and Modbus RTU fieldbuses)
  • Simplified wiring due to the ability to manage many axes on a single line of communication

Programmable drive

  • Programmability allows to have automation functions without an external master (motor's movement or I/O management)
  • High response speed
  • Some functions are managed directly from the drive while others through fieldbuses

Programmability: what do we mean?

Ever Elettronica programmable drives represent something new on the automation market, as they integrate unique functions in this field.
The concept of “programmable drives” comes from the idea of integrating a real PLC on the drive in order to be able to create complex automations with a single device.
